Duke Nukem 3D For Mac OS X 12162004
This package includes an installer that will install the game from either the PC 'Atomic Edition' disc, or the MacSoft disc from the Mac Classic version of the game. If you don't have a retail disc, the installer can give you the free shareware episode.
3DRealms still sells the game off their website at 3drealms.com. If you don't have it, this is the path of least resistance to a legitimate copy of the game. eBay is another option. Make sure you get the 'Atomic Edition' if you buy a PC disc.
TCP/IP networking and an OSX version of the level editor are included, but are intentionally hidden. Use at your own risk. :)
Do not contact 3DRealms or MacSoft for tech support; they will not help you with this version of the game..but https://bugzilla.icculus.org/ might.

Great, but i wish you could download it with out the free episode.. btw Happy Person there is a port for marathon on OS X its called M1A1 and for the other two marathons its called alephone, i think they are free too.

Damn Good Port! Thing is. I can't seem to change the screen resolution. Even tho I edited the 'duke3d.cfg' H&W to 800x600. Hmm. more tinkering is involved I guess! Anyways. For those of you who REALLY wanna Play a killer game of DooM, DooM II, Heretic or Hexen. Then I Highly Rcommend the Doomsday Engine! It will run 'em All! You just need the '.wad' file from each game. And, it uses hi-rez OpenGL wonderfully! It is a bit of a pain to get going since there is no installer. But, once you do. It is *The Best* DooM Source Port Period!

I am on a Macbook Pro, 2.8 GHz Code 2 Duo, 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3, running OS X 10.11.3 and it's up to date.I am trying to upgrade XCode to 7.2.1. First, I tried using the App Store, but that hung literally overnight and Launchpad was no help either. The download didn't take very long, even though that's a 4.73 GB download.However, it took a couple hours to mount that dmg, then overnight to install (i.e., copy the file to /Applications), and then it took 30 minutes or so to launch (verifying Xcode.app), and then it hung without fully launching. So, I downloaded the install package from. I killed it and restarted the machine. Varifying download on mac taking too long.
